The Trustees and staff of the Kilravock Christian Trust were saddened to learn of the death on 9th December 2012 of Miss Elizabeth Rose of Kilravock. Miss Rose was the inspiration behind the creation of the Trust in 1971 and she was a constant source of vision in the development of the work of the organisation over many years. Although ill health had made it more difficult for Miss Rose to be involved in all aspects of the work of the Trust in recent years, she remained a Trustee and was always interested in all that was happening in and around Kilravock Castle. Miss Rose was wholly committed to the continued use of the Trust’s assets in providing a clear, evangelical Christian witness and this commitment will be honoured by the Trustees who are left to continue the operation of the Trust in the days ahead. Elizabeth Rose will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
